Going on Vacation

Hey everyone!
This is my submission for the first edition of the jam and I decided to step out of my comfort zone for this one. I'm usually more into orchestral music, but I challenged myself to create something in the liquid drum and bass genre. It was a fun experiment, and for the first time ever, I even recorded myself playing the violin to blend in some organic elements. I tried to capture that feeling of hitting the road for a vacation—using deep, airy pads to paint a sense of wide open spaces and landscapes, and a driving DnB rhythm to represent the motion and excitement of moving forward. 

Everything was composed in Cubase and only used virtual instruments such as serum and Falcon. No external audio except my violin was used.
